Studio380-editions is the release platform of Chicago artist Randal Stringer. Each drop takes a familiar object and remakes it into something collectible — an artifact caught between consumer product and contemporary art.That tension is the point. The work comes out of a long study of how we attach to objects, use them up, and leave a residue behind. Each piece is rebuilt from familiar materials and given a second life as a numbered edition.
